This policy applies to every subscribing restaurant, its staff and anyone accessing WineUp. Breaching it may lead to suspension or termination of the account.
1. Prohibited uses
- Any use that violates applicable federal, state or local law.
- Promoting, facilitating or enabling underage alcohol access or consumption.
- False, deceptive or misleading claims about alcoholic beverages, provenance, vintage or origin.
- Medical, health, nutritional or therapeutic claims about alcohol.
- Drinking games, challenges or any content encouraging rapid or excessive consumption.
- Copyright infringement, including uploading menus, photography, artwork or wine imagery you do not have the rights to use.

- Uploading any content without sufficient rights, licences or permissions.
- Uploading malware, malicious scripts or harmful code.
- Unauthorised access attempts, credential stuffing, privilege escalation or probing other tenants’ data.
- API abuse, including exceeding documented limits or reselling API access.

- Attempting to bypass rate limits, authentication, subscription gating or credit accounting.

2. Restaurant content
The restaurant represents that it holds the necessary rights to the menus, photographs, logos and wine lists it uploads. WineUp receives only the licence reasonably necessary to host, process and display that content in order to provide the service, and claims no ownership of it.
3. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, limit functionality, suspend access or remove content. Where reasonable, we will notify you before suspending. Where there is imminent legal or security risk, we may act immediately.
4. Reporting abuse or a rights infringement
Email wineuptech@gmail.com with the subject “Abuse” or “Copyright”. Include the affected URL or account, a description of the content, proof of ownership where applicable and your contact details. We remove or restrict content where a claim is substantiated.
